A ‘Gorgeous’ Expansion
I’m excited to share that my digital-first store is officially live starting with the expanded edition of my debut novel, GORGEOUS.
The expanded edition is a 350-page upgrade with more than 40 pages of bonus material and an early preview of the sequel, GUILTY. The ebook is available directly from me and the paperback will soon be available from Amazon.
Selling digital direct lets me offer titles without the payout delays that come with retail channels. When you buy a book from me I receive the earnings faster. As a benefit to you, the reader, digital titles purchased through me can be loaded on any device and aren’t tied to a specific retailer’s hardware.

Gorgeous (Expanded Edition)
A note on the new edition:
Gorgeous was released in 2016, then again in 2017. A new revision was completed in 2025 with a great deal of hindsight.
In writing Guilty, I found I'd matured as a writer. I was better at self-editing and clarity. My prose became more elegant. By elegant I don't mean opulent. Baldwin said "Write a sentence as clean as a bone." I use words more judiciously these days, so Gorgeous no longer held up. I reverse engineered it to approach the quality of Guilty. This is where I share that the new revision lost over 7,000 words that won't be missed. The text is stronger for it.
The intent was always to follow Gorgeous (more bucket list item than a professional pursuit) with something else, to keep the momentum going. I eventually achieved that with Guilty. The years in between saw several life changes—a breakup, surviving two mass layoffs at my corporate job, two address changes, joining the food hospitality industry, four funerals in a two year span—most before the 2020 Covid-19 pandemic.
I also learned more about publishing and providing physical books (Gorgeous was digital-only back in 2016). So that update is part of this relaunch. You can add it to your shelf and so can I. The life changes mentioned above informed the writing style and storyline of the new book. In short, the text of Gorgeous needed a makeover. The in-story events are the same and, as much as I'll always be proud of what I achieved in 2016, I had the opportunity to fix some things.
A friend who works in publishing told me there's no such thing as a perfect book. You may still find errors or holes here, either because I left them to remind myself of how green I was, or something was overlooked in my haste to get two books out at roughly the same time. There may be a fourth edition. Gorgeous is my first baby and deserves love as long as I'm here to give it.
